Tohoku University is an imperial university founded in 1907 in the city of Sendai. It is the third National Designated University along with other highly relevant higher education institutions within Japan. Therefore, it is without a doubt, one of the most prestigious universities in the country.

Learn Japanese at Tohoku University

Tohoku University has a wide variety of Japanese study programs, which are offered according to the needs and interests of the students.

Thus, there is the Japanese Language Education Program aimed at international students of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, and even for those students who do not belong to any particular program, such as exchange students or who are taking the Japanese language program in intensive mode.
