Through all these resources, you prepare to be able to solve problems within your area . At the university you will find a great cultural variety, as there are students who come from many countries.
Likewise, each course is multidisciplinary , which is also reflected in the research area. The work teams are a constant, and in them you will be able to learn while putting theory into practice.
If you are a student from outside the European Union you will need a work permit . This must be processed by your future employer, who will have to request it from the UWV. To grant it, you are required to show your residence permit and prove that you are a registered student.
This procedure takes about 5 weeks. Once you get the permit, you must choose between two forms of work . One of them is to work full-time during the months of June, July and August, and the other is to work part-time throughout the year with a limit of 16 hours per week.
In addition to this, you must have health insurance that covers the basic costs of hospitals, pharmacies and other medical centers. Likewise, it is a requirement to pay taxes and social security.
At the MU Language Center it is possible to study several modern languages in addition to Dutch, including English, French, German, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese and Russian .
